In the beginning there
was Mind, who thus began creation. In the part of the Prime Verse where there
existed a system of a star and other astronomical objects, Mind found a planet
which was an empty, formless void of fire and molten rock. However, this planet
also existed within a zone of this system that was habitable. So, a large, icy
nebula in the form of a hand drifted through space towards this planet and
touched it with a single finger. This resulted in a storm of ice and fire, both
of which were so intense that one could not put out the other. The ice eventually
pushed the fire and molten rock into the inner layers of the planet, but the
fire, in turn, melted the ice into water. Some of the molten rock that was
pushed into the planet eventually dried, and pushed other molten rock up to the
surface, which also eventually created dry land. Eventually this dry land
became so numerous that, instead of calling the planet Water, Mind called it
Earth.
Mind, seeing that Earth was incomplete, thus began populating
this dry land with what it called life. Life started out in individual, small
pieces, and being immune to the radiation emanating from the system’s central
star, gave the Earth breathable air. This breathable air eventually split into
a layer that would shield the life that was created from the radiation that was
emanated from the system’s central star, and in turn, the life would continue
to produce breathable air. In the beginning, this protective shield was not
able to protect life from the many falling stars that would collide with Earth.
However, life would prevail, because of the protective shield, long enough to
create a strong enough shield to protect life from most of these falling stars.
After a long wait for life, a sudden explosion occurred.
This explosion was not enormously sudden to life or to Mind, but would only
span two-tenths of a percent of life’s current lifetime. From this explosion,
many other forms of life would appear who consisted of more pieces than the
first life. Some of these forms would have their body plans molded into different
body plans, while others would enter a state of stasis and remain there. This
explosion would also later result in a time of radiation, which lasted around
the same time as the explosion. This radiation would also result in similar life
forms, which copied the patterns of its earlier predecessors.
Mind eventually decided to create beings it would commune
with. So, it created hunched over beings, which it also gave tails. Mind also
gave them opposable thumbs on their hands and feet. Mind tried to commune with
this creation, but they were unable to fully understand each other. However,
Mind knew that the initial design was the key, and while this creation did
evolve into different forms, it knew that this design was the one that was needed
to eventually create what it intended to. So, Mind called its initial creation
monkey.
Mind, going somewhat off its original design, decided to
create taller, stronger beings, but this time without tails. Mind still gave
them opposable thumbs on their hands and feet. Mind also tried to commune with
this creation, but with little success. However, Mind knew that it was getting
close to an even greater design. In fact, this creature was so close to the
creatures it was planning to create, with it behaving in a similar fashion
among other things that Mind decided to call it ape. Ape also evolved into
different forms, as monkey and the other life forms did before it was created.
So, Mind started crafting the creature that would
represent it. First, Mind took some liquid water and formed the water into a
body. Then, Mind took dust from the earth and put it around the body he had
created out of water. Mind then breathed on and into this creation the breath
of life. This creation he gave the ability to stand upright, but gave slightly
less strength than the apes. Since this creature was so similar to Mind itself,
it called this creature man.
However,
Mind did not create only one prototype of man, as it did with monkey and ape,
but created many prototypes. Mind also created these prototypes with slightly
different designs, in that one had a slightly bigger brain than the other,
among other characteristics. Eventually, most of Mind’s prototypes died off,
and only one remained. Man, having similar characteristics to Mind, eventually
became quite advanced, and even came to worship its creator. Man also made many
civilizations, which demonstrated its intelligence and its glory, but also
Mind’s glory.
There
was a time though when Man found it difficult to communicate with Mind. Mind
seemed far away to man, even though it was not as far away as man supposed.
Still, man was stubborn and became skeptical of whether they could know Mind
and whether Mind existed at all. Still, there were some who defended both the
idea that one could know Mind, as well as its existence, but there were a few
that still maintained that they could not.
Mind,
who did exist and who man was capable of knowing, had decided to rest after it
finished its act of the creation of man. It still intervened in man’s life, but
in more subtle ways than it had before. Mind would continue in this way for
many of man’s years, until it decided to appoint a time when it would again act
in a similar way to how it did during creation, but in the apocalyptic fashion
rather than the creative. Mind even gave hints of this to man, but while man
was impatient, Mind was patient enough. Mind would wait for this appointed
time, in which he would destroy much of what man had made of his creation.
However, from this destruction Mind would make a restoration, along with a new
world and creation.
